Food Drives

1 in 5 children and 1 in 7 Seniors in Maricopa County don’t have enough food to eat.

Hunger never stops. New faces arrive at the food bank every day making food the greatest need at AZCEND.

You can organize a food drive or help us distribute food with a financial donation.

Organize a food drive

By organizing a food drive, you bring help and hope to people struggling with hunger and poverty. Thanks to generous community partners, more than one million pounds of food was distributed in over 17,000 food boxes at AZCEND last year providing more than one million meals.

Food drives help us stretch our resources even further so that no one goes to bed hungry. Community groups, corporations, churches, students and small businesses are invited to organize drives throughout the year. Most needed items include nonperishable food such as canned fruits and vegetables, canned meats and fish, soup, pasta and peanut butter.

Posters, announcements and quick facts are provided in the Food Drive Toolkit to help you get the word out about your food drive.

To schedule a food drive, complete the form below. Contact our Development Coordinator with any questions at misty@azcend.org or call (480) 963-1423, Ext 113.
