Join us by Walking in the Park to End Poverty. This is a short walk around Discovery park in Gilbert and all proceeds go to support the services and programs at AZCEND.
The Walk in the Park to End Poverty is Saturday April 14, 2018, 8:00am at Discovery Park in Gilbert.
It may come as a surprise to you that Arizona has one of the highest poverty rates in the country. Nearly 25% of Arizona children live in poverty.
While the need in Arizona is great, you can make a difference! All proceeds from the Walk in the Park to End Poverty benefit AZCEND programs that provide life-changing and empowering services to our community including food assistance, children’s early literacy classes, life skills for adults, rent and utility assistance, senior nutrition and services for people experiencing homelessness.
We know that you have a passion for the work that is done at AZCEND, so please join us in the walk to end poverty. Register here for the opportunity to walk and bring your family too.
Individuals may register for $20, Families may register for $30. Any donation above those amounts also secures your registration. Group discounts for corporations or organizations are available.
